"GVA II" is a basic seismic control system that absorbs repeated vibrations using a uniquely developed phenolic resin. It enables homes to continue to be lived in even after repeated major earthquakes. It disperses and absorbs seismic energy, minimizing the deformation of the home. The newly designed arm, integrated with a friction damper, features a simple structure that does not interfere with the connections (between columns and foundations/beams) or intermediate posts.
